Equipment & Workstation Guidelines
To ensure seamless call quality and security for our enterprise clients, your home office setup must meet these technical standards.
Computer & Operating System
- Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit). If on Windows 10, upgrade for free on Microsoft's site.
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 (or higher).
- RAM: 8 GB minimum (16 GB strongly recommended for multi-tasking).
- Displays: Dual monitors (1920x1080 resolution) are required for most client programs.
Internet & Network
- Connection Type: Hard-wired Ethernet cable directly into your router or modem.
- No Wi-Fi: Wireless (Wi-Fi), satellite, or cellular hotspot connections are not permitted.
- Download Speed: Minimum 20 Mbps download.
- Upload Speed: Minimum 10 Mbps upload.
Audio & Headsets
- USB Headset: Dedicated USB headset with noise-canceling microphone (e.g. Logitech H390 or Jabra).
- No 3.5mm or Bluetooth: Wireless earbuds and analog audio jacks are strictly disallowed for voice security.
Webcam & Environment
- HD Webcam: Built-in or external USB webcam for online certification attendance.
- Quiet Space: A private, closed-door room free from background noise, pets, television, and disruptions.
Incompatible Hardware Note: Mac OS, Chromebooks, Android tablets, iPads, and Linux operating systems are strictly incompatible with Arise secure virtual client softphones and cannot be used.
